The faith of the sheep and the goats

References: Heb 3:18-19 (Heb 11:33-39)

In Mt 25, Jesus promised to gather believers to him at the time of the second coming. Among those are gathered to him, Jesus prophesied that some believers would be like sheep and some would be like goats. Jesus promised that the sheep-like believers would inherit the kingdom of heaven and that the goat-like believers be expelled from heaven and sentenced to an eternity of punishment in hell (Mt 25:31-46).

These words are a grave warning to those of us who believe.

Today, at the time of the second coming, Jesus worked through seven messengers (Rv 1:12-16, Rv 2:1). Revelation 6 makes it clear that Jesus has forsaken the seven messengers who were once in his right hand because they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed adultery with Satan by receiving the teachings of his Nicolaitans.

Today, the members of Shinchonji have seen and heard the most important truth that has been revealed over the last 6,000 years of God’s work. Despite this, there are people among us who are still holding onto their old habits and still practicing a perfunctory life of faith that merely gives lip service to God.

Why are people acting like this? These people feel nothing when they think about how our Lord and savior Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for our sins. They act like this because they do not know and are not truly grateful for the grace they have received. If they truly felt the grace of Jesus’ sacrifice, they would be willing to lay down their lives for him. Their faith is dead because they don’t understand the meaning of the cross and they don’t connect Jesus’ death to their own lives. Since they are not yet awake, they are satisfied with a life of faith that pays lip service to God and does not demand that they understand the word or change themselves.

In Heb 11:33-39, Apostle Paul describes the situation of the Hebrew people who dared to live a life of faith in his time.

Just think about the difficulties believers at that time faced and about the difficulties Jesus faced so that we could receive salvation today. Those of us who call ourselves true believers should be moved to tears by their sacrifice. Shouldn’t those of us today who have directly received what was promised be willing to suffer ten times as much as they did? If you can’t even endure a training program designed to encourage introspection, repentance, and enlightenment, how will you endure the fires of hell? Isn’t putting in a little more effort to purify ourselves and develop a little more faith easier than enduring the fires of hell? I must die and be born again to have faith and obedience. Why should Jesus be the only one who has to die? Why should the prophets and apostles who proclaimed the gospel be the only ones who have to die? Do we really deserve this?

God, Jesus, and I have shown you the highest word of truth and its physical fulfillment so that you can believe it and obey. People who refuse to believe this and obey should just leave Shinchonji. To those of you who refuse to work and yet are happy to eat your fill, why are you here? You look like believers on the outside, but you are empty on the inside. If you are not working whole-heartedly for God’s kingdom, you should leave Shinchonji voluntarily. Romans 8:28 says that God works together with those who love him to bring about what is good.

People who simply pay lip service to God and are complacent about their lives of faith hinder the work of others and discourage those of us who are working hard. I heard a person in the mission department say, “I will work hard. Give me the phone numbers of all the pastors.” This person just intended to order others to work instead of doing the work himself. His words and actions are proof that he has not yet fully cleansed himself.

People do not enter the kingdom of heaven by being called a pastor or a missionary; we go to heaven or hell according to our words and actions. I want the people of Shinchonji to become the city of truth, the strongest kingdom in the world, and a royal priesthood that can provide justice and righteousness for all. Rid yourselves of all your corrupt, rebellious, and worn-out thoughts and actions. Stop living the life of faith of a goat-like believer. I am building God’s kingdom with people who are willing to go through anything and everything with Jesus for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. People who believe this will all work together for the glory of God’s kingdom.

From beginning to end, my heart is unchanging.

To the heavens, to the angels, to the spirits of the martyrs!

The 6,000 year history of God’s kingdom is becoming the eternal song of heaven.

When all of our work is done, the spirits and flesh will sing together forever in the paradise of eternal rest.
